The Pennsylvania Superior Court has upheld an award of $3,000 in attorney fees to a homeowner involved in litigation over his mailbox, which was smashed into by a maintenance truck, and said additional fees were warranted based on the conduct of the defendants and their lawyer.

In an unpublished May 21 opinion, a three-judge panel of the appeals court affirmed the original attorney fee award to plaintiff Franco Moscatiello and called for additional fees in an amount to be decided by the trial judge on remand.
