Harriet Miers, a former managing partner of Locke Lord and current litigator with the firm in Dallas and Washington, D.C., saw a federal judge recently grant a sanctions motion against one of her clients and several other co-defendants.

Gospel for Asia Inc., a nonprofit based in Wills Point, Texas, is one of several entities fighting a proposed class action filed by donors against the organization, which has raised more than $375 million.
