The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit has rejected attempts to revive 315 scuttled cases against Pfizer over claims that its anxiety medication Zoloft caused birth defects.

A three-judge panel of the appeals court ruled June 2 in In re Zoloft to affirm U.S. District Judge Cynthia Rufe of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania’s decision to toss the claims because of insufficient expert support.
