U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission veteran Karen Garnett has joined Proskauer Rose as a partner in the firm’s corporate department, the firm said Monday.

Garnett, who is joining Proskauer’s 28-lawyer Washington, D.C., office, left the SEC in February 2018 after two decades of public service. She most recently served as associate director in the SEC’s division of corporation finance for the past eight years.
