A Florida man who claimed he was arrested in retaliation for exercising his First Amendment rights notched a win at the U.S. Supreme Court Monday.

Fane Lozman sued Riviera Beach, a municipality in Palm Beach County, after its commissioners had him thrown out and arrested during a city council meeting. He claimed the arrest violated his constitutional free speech rights, and was retaliation for his criticism of the local government.
