Editors Note: After publication of this article, St. Thomas University School of Law has said it is no longer renaming the school after the late Peter Day, who died on Sunday at age 92. The school has instead renamed its Moot Courtroom in his honor.
The St. Thomas University School of Law will be renamed to honor Senior U.S. Circuit Judge Peter Fay of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, the dean of the school, Tamara Lawson, announced Wednesday.
