When deciding which outside law firms to hire, GCs shouldn’t just be considering firms’ diversity and inclusion intentions and initiatives, but hard data, Raj Goyle, CEO of Bodhala in New York, said in a recent interview with Corporate Counsel.

Bodhala provides companies with legal spend analytics, which includes timekeeper diversity data. That data allows GCs to see who is truly getting credit for the work, Goyle explained. Goyle discussed the cloud of mystery surrounding the origination credit, and the benefits of taking a data-driven approach to diversity and inclusion.
