Over twenty law firms including Slaughter and May, Clifford Chance, Herbert Smith Freehills and Shearman & Sterling have founded a new alliance committed to accelerating the transition to net zero carbon emissions by 2050. 

The coalition, called Net Zero Lawyers Alliance, launched on Wednesday to coincide with London Climate Action Week, according to an announcement by the firms.
