Consumer Class Action/Mass Tort Defense

Greenberg Traurig shareholder Toby S. Soli has entered an appearance for Thriving Brands LLC and Henkel Corp. in a pending class action over Right Guard brand deodorant products. The case, filed Dec. 22 in Connecticut District Court, claims that the products contain dangerously high levels of the carcinogen benzene. Thriving Brands, which is based in Cincinnati, purchased the Right Guard line of products from Henkel in 2021. The suit was filed on behalf of s nationwide class of consumers by Bursor & Fisher; Reardon Scanlon LLP; Levin, Sedran & Berman and The Sultzer Law Group. The case is 3:21-cv-01702, Lazo v. Henkel Corp et al., claims that Old Spice and Secret aerosol and spray products contain dangerously high levels of the carcinogen benzene.  >>Read the complaint on Law.com Radar.
