A veteran family law attorney has been suspended from practicing law for three months after a referee found that he’d committed a raft of client-centered ethics violations, including telling certain clients that he’d refund or pay them if they would withdraw ethics complaints made to a state grievance committee.

The suspension of Bronx-based lawyer Wayne F. Crowe comes after the referee appointed in his matter recommended to the Appellate Division, First Department court that Crowe be privately admonished for his ethical breaches.
