Almost six months to the day after Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel complex litigation chairman John P. “Sean” Coffey was tapped for the top Navy lawyer post, he has been confirmed by the U.S. Senate.
Nominated on Aug. 9, Coffey was confirmed Wednesday afternoon as the general counsel of the U.S. Navy Department in a bipartisan vote of 79-17.
