The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit has dismissed the claims of a longtime American Airlines employee who was fired after her racially insensitive posts on Facebook “‘became a large PR incident for the company.’”

The employee, Colleen Koslosky, alleged that her firing was discriminatory and pretextual and that American’s earlier denial of her request for accommodations was discriminatory, according to the Third Circuit’s nonprecedential Sept. 27 opinion.
