Theodore Boutrous is leading a team of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher attorneys defending the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in a lawsuit over the school’s name change.

The school selected Gibson Dunn after Chancellor and Dean David Faigman and other officials interviewed a number of firms following news of legal threats from several different parties, according to Boutrous. The Gibson Dunn team also includes Elizabeth McCloskey, Matthew Kahn and Theane Evangelis.
