Perkins Coie on Thursday hired a four-lawyer patent litigation group from Morrison & Foerster, significantly boosting the firm’s bench strength for International Trade Commission-related representations in the tech sector.

The move comes amid heightened activity at the ITC and a rise in litigation funding, which has recently prompted many Big Law firms, including Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and Morrison & Foerster, to beef up their intellectual property litigation teams on the West Coast.
