The U.S. Senate voted to confirm University of Montana law professor Anthony Johnstone to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit Monday evening. Johnstone will be the 32nd appeals court judge appointed by President Joe Biden.
The nominee was confirmed by a vote of 49-45.
