A Message From the Editor

Good morning. Big Law isn't the only sector tossing some of those inflated profits into the lateral market. Midsize firm expansion has seen a burst of energy so far this year with a flurry of mergers and group hires being announced almost daily. This has implications for the growing firms, the local markets they are expanding into and those in Big Law who are competing for the same talent or looking for possible merger candidates themselves.
